Allied Metals originally began in 1954 as a processor of secondary low carbon steel to supplant more expensive options. Our U.S. manufactured LC44 is available in plate form with dimensions of 6” (150 mm) x down and thicknesses of approximately 1/16” (1.5 mm).
LC44 is supplied with a guaranteed chemical analysis and is an excellent alternative for Carbon and Sulfur control in the production of various materials such as low carbon stainless steels, magnetic alloys, non-magnetic alloys, and heat resistant alloys. Furthermore, our LC44 is washed and dried to ensure a clean melt.
